Welcome to the website of Blanchardstown West Educate Together National School. This is a new Educate Together national school which opened its doors for the first time on September 1st 2011.

Our school is under the patronage of Educate Together - this means that the school has a unique ethos or characteristic spirit. Like all Educate Together schools it is founded on
four key principles
1. Child-Centered.
in all aspects of the school
2.Multi-denominational
where children learn about all religions and where faith formation takes place in an opt-in basis outside of the school day.
3. Co-Educational.
Boys and girls participating in all activities together.
4. Democratically Run.
Parents, teachers, BOM and students have meaningful input into the school's decision making.
Currently there are sixty Educate Together
primary schools in Ireland in addition to applications being made for patronship of many secondary schools.
